the one with 5 books I read in May

As part of my 2018 annual goals, I decided to read a book a week. But little know fact, I read really fast. So that mixed with my rule of 5 has basically turned into reading 5 books a month. And I want to share my books! I’ll share the amazon description, and how many stars I gave the book! I love dystopian, fantasy, young adult books. But I do mix in some contemporary. Sometimes I even try to read something that will give me some knowledge! So here’s 5 books I’ve read in May . . .

At the beginning of June, I’m going to bookcon so this month was all about reading books for authors that will be there.

Maybe, Someday – by Colleen Hoover *****

From Amazon: At twenty-two years old, Sydney has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter’s cheating on her–and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Restore Me – by Tahereh Mafi ****

From Amazon: Juliette Ferrars thought she’d won. She took over Sector 45, was named the new Supreme Commander of North America, and now has Warner by her side. But when tragedy strikes, she must confront the darkness that dwells both around and inside her.

Who will she become in the face of adversity? Will she be able to control the power she wields, and use it for good?

It ends with Us – by Colleen Hoover **

From Amazon: Lily hasn’t always had it easy. But that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up – she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom – by Leigh Bardugo ****

From Amazon: Ketterdam is a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price—and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone. . .

A Court of Frost and Starlite– by Sarah J Mass *****

From Amazon: Feyre, Rhys, and their close-knit circle of friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it, a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can’t keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated.
