I was in Indiana- where I’m from – for almost 2 weeks. I’m not interested in racing, but the husband is so I have an appreciation. And the city just comes alive at the end of May every year – some see it as the worst time of year. But for me it’s always been the start of summer with a HUGE event that doesn’t make Indiana look like idiots. Unless you’re in the snake pit . . . Here’s the 5 best things that happened.
1.corn. I got to eat some Indiana corn.
2. We celebrated my shower – which I talked about Monday – and we also celebrated my best friends baby boy who comes about 2 weeks before ours. I’m so glad I got to be there and celebrate with her.
3. One of my nephews and his girlfriend graduated from high school! Just super proud 🙂
4. I got to see this girl 🙂 She’s got big things coming in her life and I’m so excited for her!
5. This happened after the trip, but it counts. We had another ultrasound to see our baby boy Tuesday. I immediately regretted this decision when I didn’t get home until midnight from the airport and then had to be at the doctor with a full bladder 8 hours later. But I changed my mind pretty quickly 🙂 If he could just be here already so I can put him in the loafers I bought him.
