the one with diy lemon juice toner

About two months ago I listed some of the natural ways I had researched to prevent and heal pregnancy acne. You can find that post here. Since then I’ve tried 1 of those ways, and I wanted to share my results! When I searched for pregnancy acne, I couldn’t find much that helped. My goal here is to help future pregnant ladies find a way that might work for them. Having acne doesn’t mean a thing for our beauty, but it’s still frustrating, right ladies?! Dealing with it during pregnancy, is just one more thing we shouldn’t have to deal with.

The first of the ways I decided to try you can find here. I’m still using my bee sting scrub about twice a week, and love it as a deep exfoliater. This month I added a lemon juice toner. Here’s how I made mine . . .

lemontoner

Ingredients:
2 tablspoons apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup lemon juice

In a small bottler, combine acv, water and a lemon juice. Shake well and spray or soak onto a cotton pad and gently wipe down your face. Focus on areas where acne or large pores are present.

My face has almost completely cleared up now that I’ve added this. I’m extremely happy with it and love the feeling of my skin after using my toner. Full disclosure I did have a facial during the month that I added this in, but I had already noticed a difference. It’s been a few weeks since my facial and my skin isn’t returning back to it’s volcanic ways. Next month I’m going to share my updated ‘maternity’ skin care routine and picture of my face before and after!

Have you ever made your own toner?

Lemon juie and apple cider vinegar, sounds interesting. I wonder if it would work on any kind of adult acne. Thanks for sharing.
