Monday I shared what I wore for Easter Sunday. A fun, bright, easy, pastel poplin dress. What I love about a poplin dress is how versatile it is. Almost as much as a fit & flare. But a poplin keeps it versatile when it comes to the fabric – it can be dressed up or dressed down, dressed for a movie or dressed for a wedding. So today I wanted to share 3 more ways I dress my poplin dress.

Anne Michelle Sandals
Monday I shared a classier way to wear it so let’s start with yet another. On Monday’s look I wanted to be a little more covered up for church or even work, but this one would be good when you can show a little shoulder. I think I’m going to wear something just like this to a wedding we have in August. I love that the statement necklace brings in a little darker color to contrast all the bright, and it welcomes in warm blues so the mint in the purse makes perfect sense.

Drawstring Crossbody Bag
For days when you want to look nice but still be comfortable a dress is always a good option. I love adding jean jackets to those quick and easy choices in the spring. The denim, of course, keeps the look casual, but warm in the mornings and the evenings when the sun isn’t all the way up. That even happens in Florida believe it or not. Backpack/drawstring type bags like this are popular right now, and I can’t decide if I’m ok with it or not. But this one makes me think I’m ok with it.
Envelope Crossbody BagFlip Flop
Sometimes you just want to be really casual, but still look put together. With a poplin dress, I’d throw on a comfy graphic tee. I might even knot it at the bottom, but that might make me look pregnant. It still might be worth it though so I’ll be trying it soon. Another warm blue purse to add some contrast and keep things colorful, and some super cute, super comfy flippy floppies bring this look together.
What’s a way you’d rock a poplin dress this spring?

I never really thought of going so casual with the red poplin dress that’s been hanging in my closet but I love the idea of throwing on a graphic tee over it!
