I haven’t shared my daily skin care routine in a while. and it’s changed pretty drastically since the last time I did so. 2 key items in fact are the cause . . . I love reading these posts on other blogs so I can get new ideas of things to try – I hope you guys get some of those things from reading mine 🙂
My face and I have a love hate relationship in the past 2 years. I’m almost 30 you guys and my face and my hormones has realized it before my brain has. SO basically what I’m saying I have a new found acne problem and I don’t act my age so everyone thinks i’m early twenties, but I’m almost not in my twenties anymore. Holy rambling.
Here’s how I try to combat my acne so I look my age . . . and take general care of my face and body  . . .
step 1 – take that make up off! :: I use ponds face wipes to remove all my make up and cleanse my face. I love these – I feel so cleansed afterward – not too dry – and I haven’t found a mascara they can’t handle.
step 2 – acne fighting :: if I have something that has already come up and needs handled I put a little dab of this to burn it off. Not really – that’s not what it does nor what it feels like, but it’s what i imagine in my head. because i hate acne so it can burn . . . if i’m being honest – and I always am – I can’t decide if I like this better than mary kay’s acne cream. I used that for years and loved it. my acne problem started soon after I stopped. bu there are other factors that i think caused it.
step 3 –Â extra cleanse/acne fighting/ moisturizing :: coconut oil does it all. so I cover my face in a light coat of melted coconut oil. Some people use this as a cleanser, and if I get too much on I do splash some water to take it off. My acne is in half since I started using coconut oil and my not very dry face usually doesn’t need any more moisturizer.
step 4 – moisture :: My face doesn’t usually need more moisture, but if it does I use clinique dramtically different moisturizer . And on my body I use the best lotion I’ve ever found – and I’ve been looking for a long time. I use Trader Joe’s Midsummer Night right before bed every night all over my body.
step 5 – Vitamins. Or as I like to call them ‘horse pills’. When I take them in the morning I’m extremely nauseous on my drive to work. When I take them before bed,  . . . energy! And when I take them at lunch time . . . i never remember to take them at lunch. I started using gummy vitamins and even continued to take Flintstones as an adult. Eventually I stopped altogether, but that made one too many gestational problems.
Then I found these bad boys. Zenwise Probiotics are the perfect little vitamin to help with all my gestational issues. And bonus – see how I said little up there – they. are. not. horse pills. Thank you very much.
Not only do they help with my gestational issues – which causes acne as we all should know, but they have really been helping my energy. and um my mood – it is usually very neutral and stays very even keels . . . it’s the total opposite but not so much when I take my zenwise probiotics!
There you have it my favorite products to use for skin care right now. What’s on your list? Have you ever tried Zenwise probiotic’s before?
*I was given a free sample of Zenwise Probiotics for this post, but received no other compensation. All opinions are 100% my own*

Your routine is similar to mine. I will have to try these vitamins!
January 16, 2015 at 1:30 pmMost vitamins completly RUIN me. If I take a normal vitamin I’m usually done for the rest of the day. They make me so nauseous I can’t move. The only ones that I’ve found that don’t do that is the one-a-day energy (it only has half my daily iron, which is apparently the culprit. I’ll have to look into these.

January 19, 2015 at 9:42 pmI used Flinstone vitamins from childhood through college. They taste so good! haha. I now take a daily women’s vitamin from Trader Joe’s (the only vitamin that doesn’t upset my stomach), but I’m really thinking I need to start taking probiotics. I’ll have to try your brand!
