The hubs and I are getting ready for a relaxing beach vacation yet again! Every year we say we should be tourists instead of beach bums . . . and every year we go to the beach. This year we are road tripping to the beach and we will have 3 days of adventures on the road while we have 4 days falling asleep on the beach . . . yup I fall asleep on the beach . . . please yell at me.

Makeup is the last thing I want to worry about when on the beach . . . and in the car for long periods of time . . .  Most days I’ll put on some bb cream and maybe mascara – for the nights I’ll add a little cheek color, crème eye shadow, some eyeliner, and a lip color. There will be some extra things I take if I want to really turn up the fancy, but I don’t take much and I certainly don’t take my whole makeup bag.

. . . and if anything melts because I left in the car or on the sand for some reason I don’t have to replace everything! Here’s what I’ll be taking.

L’Oreal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream – foundation is a no go on beach vacations for me. first of all I don’t want to feel it melting off . . . and 2nd of all my face will be glowing with the sun. this helps even out the tone and provides some extra spf.

Elf essential tone correcting concealer – just in case I have a blemish or for my dark under eye circles for nights out . . .

Covergirl Believable Blush in Rose Silk – I like the option to make my cheeks look super rosy just in case the sun hasn’t already made them rosy.

Covergirl Cheekers Bronzer in Radiance – if the sun has made my cheeks rosy I’ll this bronzer to even things out.

Mary Kay Crème eye color in beach blonde – during the day my eyes get nothing on them. I’m too busy laying on the beach. But for the evening I like a little pizazz. my eye lids are much darker than most of the rest of my face so even if I don’t wear a lot of makeup I like to put this on to even things out. It works great as a primer if I choose to wear shadows on top.

 Stila all day waterproof eye liner in black – most nights I’ll probably put a little of this on my top lid just to look a little extra fancy. I like this one because it stays put.

Maybelline Great Lash in black – mascara is a must have. I don’t think I even need to explain why I take it . . .

Covergirl Exact Highlights – just in case I want to do a smoky eye for a night out like on our anniversary, I take a small pallet to give me some options.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip-gloss in Pink Whisper – most nights I’ll throw on a good, clean, lip gloss so I have some color and moisture, but don’t have too much.

Two faced Lip Insurance – if I choose to wear a bolder lip color this will help it not melt

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Watermelon – This is a new brand and color to me and I absolutely love it. We will be down there during our anniversary so I’ll probably rock this a couple nights to turn up the fancy.
