I had big plans to blog last week, and then sign off for the year! The plan included lots of downtime around the holidays to spend with my boys and our family. But well life happened. Everybody in our house has been sick – twice – in the past three weeks, and I was reminded that I am 28 weeks with baby number two. There are certain things pregnant women can’t do or just shouldn’t do. It’s a strange feeling. Most of the time I feel fine, I feel normal. Maybe just a little pressure in that general area. But there are things I can’t do because of this coconut sitting on my bladder. So I had to take a break and stop pushing myself. A little break is good every now and then tho right?!
There are some posts that are on my heart and a couple that I’ve just already written, but haven’t shared. So I’ll be around the next couple weeks sharing those, and stepping up my Instagram game. There are lots of fun outfits in real life coming up so I’ll be sharing them on the gram! I haven’t shared a pregnancy update in a month, and lots of people have asked about Ben so let’s start there . . .
How far along? 28 weeks with baby number two
Maternity clothes? yes. I get to do dressed up pregnancy this round, and I’m pumped. weight gain and such has slowed down – maybe because I got food poisoning?! I was showing more than my first pregnancy with Jack, but I’m not anymore. Which is amazing because I was starting to wonder how some of my maternity shirts were going to make it 3 more months.
Sleep: Meh. Between hip pain, and all 3 of us being sick sleep is terrible. But it is getting better.
Best moment: seeing Santa with big brother
Miss Anything?: a drank. and that’s not gonna change
Movement: Those large movements where you know the baby is flipping around and not just moving his legs have begun. Whoof! Those things are rough when he’s sitting so low.
Food cravings: Sandwiches and Oreo’s
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Gender: a boy! Benjamin ? Stark We’re struggling a little on his middle name, but we’re close to our answer.
Symptoms: hip pain in full force. dryness everywhere
Belly Button in or out? in, and I doubt it comes out
Wedding rings on or off? on and comfortable.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I was a little moody, but I think most of that can be traced to lack of sleep. I fully believe sleep is a basic health NEED. When I don’t get enough, it affects my mental health most noticeably.
Looking forward to? Of course, Christmas week! And a new year, fresh start!

When you look at how big the baby is compared to how big you look, you think what the hell is with that, ok you know it is the placenta and all but still can have a what the hell moment
