How am I 34 weeks pregnant? There are still times I forget I’m pregnant. Not really, but I do occasionally just feel like a completely normal human. Then boom . . . he moves and I remember it’s getting so close to the day I’ll get to hold my Jack.
How far along? 34 weeks
Maternity clothes? I have a basketball in my belly so yes, however some pre-pregnancy pants still fit with the belly band.
Sleep: it’s actually been pretty good the past few weeks. I can sleep on my side curving almost on my belly with the support of my snoogle to be sure I don’t go all the way over. Don’t worry I’m not cutting off the blood supply (which is why you can’t sleep on your belly, that and it’s uncomfortable). But I know those days are almost over as the basketball grows.
Best moment: Baby daddy and I are getting lots of things checked off the pre-baby list. I like sitting and talking to him about our birth plan and getting things arranged for getting to and from the hospital.
Miss Anything?: This question makes me feel like I’m complaining, and I actually feel extremely blessed to have had a good pregnancy. Laying in bed and feeling him move around is better than any of the bad stuff. I would however like to not feel like I have to pee all day.
Movement: He still moves all the time, but the past couple weeks the movement has changed. I can tell he’s grown quite a bit, which he’s supposed to be gaining half a pound a week so that’s good. The movements aren’t squirmy or giant kicks anymore. It’s all big movement and deliberate.
Food cravings: I’m actually really starting to crave meat and protein. First thing every morning is some eggs and bacon please.
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope, however the heartburn is so bad though.
Gender: boy!
Symptoms: This is another question that makes me feel like I’m complaining, but if I have to . . . restless legs, braxton hicks, lots of pee, all of them
Belly Button in or out? I think it might flatten out, but I’ll be surprised if it pops all the way.
Wedding rings on or off? on! the heat does cause my feet and hands to swell a little, but not usually or consistently.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I’m pretty happy all the time. I get overly emotional about some things, but my mood is much more stable than it ever has been before.
Looking forward to? Maternity pictures are next week.
