Happy April! Today starts plans for our Easter for 2! This may sound bad, but growing up Easter was just another day to acknowledge and celebrate His resurrection . . . and then have a good meal with ham and pickled eggs most importantly. Even though it’s just Iron Man and I here for Easter, I want to have an special dinner with all the stuff we’re used to. This will be the first time I’ve made pickled eggs . . . and not just eat the entire tub my mom makes. Wish me luck! And possibly I’ll share the recipe.
I’m pretty sure that just by coming to the blog even if for one post, you can see my love of purple. But lately I’ve been having a little love affair with pink.
I know. I know.
When I was younger, you would never catch me in either color. I certainly wouldn’t say they were my favorite color or have my blog feature either color. But eventually they grew on me, and I welcomed the girly colors into my life. Then I loved purple so much it became my wedding color. It’s serious.
Except for this little love affair with pink I’m having right now.

April 2, 2015 at 9:59 amI can’t believe you get to wear a tank top, skirt and sandals this time of year. J.E.A.L.O.U.S. I was never one to like pink or purple as a kiddo, either, but they are now among my favorites! Funny how we change, eh? 🙂
