the one with leopard

leoparddress5 leoparddress6 leoparddress4 leoparddress3 leoparddress2 leoparddress1I wear a uniform for about 3 days of my week – pants, shoes, cute earrings, watch, work polo – sometimes 4 days. And yet I still have tons. of. clothes. I will often go buy a cute t-shirt only to go home and put in the color coded system I try to stay organized by only to find I have the exact same shirt. So in an attempt to stop doing that for the month of October – and possibly longer – I’m going to work a capsule wardrobe.

go here if you have questions on what that is. Since I don’t really need an outfit half the week I’m most likely going to notch mine down to 27 items. My ‘rules’ are simple – no clothing purchases excluding shoes and accessories (belts, costume jewelry, NO purses). I rarely spend more than $10 on an accessory so I’m not worried about being outrageous in those purchases, and I always feel like my closed toe shoe came is lacking so I’m leaving that open, but it has to be good.

The end goal is to save money to be quite honest. To get control of my spending because like I said above I spend way too much on unnecessary clothes. I’m still not clear on what exactly will be in my 27 items that’s my goal to finish up deciding this evening. But this dress (and everything I wore this weekend) will definitely make the cut.

Love this! I can’t find any cute leopard shirts around here, which is weird! The mall is swarming with people. I’m so glad i’m done Christmas shopping. Happy Monday!

I am loving leopard this Fall! I think it is going to be really “in.” I saw a leopard scarf the other day that I want to buy. It’s fun to incorporate little leopard elements into an outfit.

I just love this on trend look! plus I’m a fan of leopard print, not sure if I’ve got the confidence to wear it in a dress though. Looking fab!
